Arcway started in a small unit in Northwest London in 2019. Two of us, both former main-dealer techs, both fed up with watching decent cars get flipped with the bare minimum of attention. So we started doing it our way.
We buy maybe eight to ten cars a month — usually one-owner part-exchanges and direct private sales we've been tipped off about. Everything gets put on the ramps, gets a proper inspection, and gets whatever it actually needs before it goes anywhere near the website. Brakes, tyres, fluids, the little stuff most places gloss over. If a car isn't right, we don't sell it.
Prices are what they are. We've costed in a fair margin and that's the number — there's nothing to haggle and no "admin fee" hiding at the bottom of the invoice. Drive it, buy it, take it home. If something turns out to be off in the first week, bring it back and we'll sort it.
